Based on the legendary Foxy-style fuzz and octave pedals of the 1970s, it combines thick, saturated vintage fuzz with a distinctive octave-up effect. From relatively mild crunch to massive, raw fuzz, the Mellow/Brite control, Volume and Sustain provide access to a wide range of classic fuzz tones. For the Peach Fuzz, the vintage circuit has been modified with a particularly useful octave-up function. The octave can be engaged permanently or used in momentary mode, activating the effect only while you hold down the footswitch. This makes it ideal for adding that characteristic psychedelic, cutting octave fuzz to selected riffs or solos. Inside, Warm Audio uses components including NOS Fairchild 2N3565 transistors, germanium 1N34A diodes, carbon resistors and film capacitors, closely recreating the character of the original 1970s circuit. The appearance also pays clear tribute to the original, with the enclosure covered in eye-catching peach-colored flocked velvet, matching Peaches!, The Black Keys’ 2026 release. The Peach Fuzz features true bypass and can be powered by a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC center-negative power supply, drawing just 1.5 mA.
