From an almost clean boost and crunchy overdrive to heavily saturated fuzz and glitchy, unstable sounds, the Gain control and selectable Strength setting determine how much headroom or extreme distortion the circuit delivers. The three-position Voice switch provides three distinct characters with different clipping and tone-stack configurations, including op-amp, germanium and silicon clipping.  One of its most distinctive features is BIT, a fully analog bit crusher that transforms the signal into an extreme square wave. Depending on the gain setting, this can produce long, aggressive sustain, chiptune-style tones or gated and glitchy fuzz. The Shape control determines which frequencies are sent into the distortion circuit. At lower gain settings, it mainly works as a pre-distortion tone control, while at higher gain levels it can create much more radical and sometimes unpredictable changes in the character of the distortion. The Tone control then allows you to further shape the final sound.  Level and Clean provide independent volume controls for the distorted signal and a parallel, completely clean signal. This allows you to combine the clarity and definition of your dry instrument with the distortion, making the Pet Yeti particularly suitable for bass, synthesizers and drum machines as well as guitar. The pedal is 100% analog, features true bypass and top-mounted connections, and is handmade in Massachusetts, USA.
