It captures the mechanical warmth and quirky modulation of the original Tel-Rey designs using a new algorithm that faithfully reproduces their unpredictable character. The first oil can echoes (by Tel-Rey, 1959) used a rotating can filled with conductive oil instead of tape, creating a murky, vibey sound unlike traditional tape delays. Olivera replicates this behavior, producing lush, evolving textures and thick modulation. The pedal combines vintage tone with modern usability, offering: •Stereo operation with independent L/R processing •Simplified controls and support for expression pedals & MultiSwitch •Delay spillover to keep echoes when bypassed •Class A JFET preamp for clarity and dynamics •MIDI & USB for patch recall, control, and firmware updates •Rugged build with premium components The pedal is powered by a standard 9 volts power supply (not included) and dras 250 milliamps.
