JAM pedals Wahcko Wah mk.2

The JAM Pedals Wahcko mk.2 builds on the distinctive Wahcko wah that has been part of the JAM Pedals line since 2008.

At its heart is a custom-designed JAM inductor inspired by the vintage TDK inductors found in classic 1960s Cry Baby and Vox wah circuits. The result is an expressive wah with an immediate response and organic interaction with your playing style, guitar and amplifier.

The familiar six-position SWEEP control remains, offering six different frequency ranges to fine-tune the Wahcko’s response to your instrument, amplifier and playing style. In addition to the internal Input Gain control, the mk.2 introduces a new internal Q trimmer for adjusting the character and intensity of the wah effect. The resistance of the rocker pedal itself can also be adjusted, allowing you to tailor its physical response to your personal preference.

New to the Wahcko mk.2 are internal DIP switches that let you select between Guitar and Bass Mode, extending the expressive sweep into lower registers while retaining the characteristic feel and musical response of the Wahcko. The pedal features true bypass and can be powered by either a 9V DC adapter or a 9V battery, with a low current draw of just 10 mA. Combining the character of classic wah circuits with greater control over its response, the Wahcko mk.2 is a highly adaptable wah for both guitarists and bassists.
