Red Panda RD-1 Pitch Delay

Red Panda RD-1 Pitch Delay is a compact digital delay that combines classic echoes with pitch shifting and frequency shifting. This allows the RD-1 to go far beyond traditional delay sounds, ranging from clean repeats and subtle detuning to harmonically shifting echoes and experimental, atonal soundscapes. The three Shift modes – SEMI, CENT and FREQ – let you shift the repeats in semitones, small pitch increments or frequencies.

The Once function determines whether pitch shifting is applied only to the first repeat or continues to accumulate with every subsequent repeat. This makes it possible to create echoes that gradually climb or descend in pitch. The RD-1 also features reverse delay, tap tempo and expression control, making it equally suitable for subtle modulation and more adventurous experimental effects.

Despite its extensive possibilities, the RD-1 remains straightforward to operate, with direct control over parameters including Blend, Feedback, Delay and Shift. Delay time extends up to 1200 ms, or up to 2400 ms in reverse mode. Its compact enclosure also takes up very little space on your pedalboard. The pedal runs on 9V DC center-negative power, draws 125 mA, and features buffered bypass.
